Reflection on injuries and first aid
Before having a more significant understanding of various injuries, symptoms, and first aid treatments, have been comfortable with limited first aid procedures. However, after learning, discussion, experimentation, as well as the mock demonstration of various primary aid methods to multiple injuries, I have realized that there is more to do than doing the simple procedure of first aid to an individual with an injury. Moreover, after gaining more knowledge of injuries and first aid types, I have come to believe that good first aid is crucial when someone has experienced an injury. Furthermore, I have come to realize it is a lifesaving situation for injuries like snake bites and high degree burns that can easily result in loss of life. Besides, various first aid methods to the injuries have made me believe that degree of injury pains can be reduced to a very manageable level. Furthermore, I have come to observe that some first aids to injuries do not require medical experts. Through simple training, one can acquire crucial knowledge to give first aid to such injuries.
While undertaking the assignment concerning types of injuries, symptoms, and various first aid methods, I encountered a challenge of accessing some websites and some books that could have helped me obtain extra information. However, the sources that I have used have offered me adequate information. Moreover, the data collected and knowledge have given me the courage and comfort to face real-life situations, and the application of the knowledge gained. Furthermore, I am now in a position to differentiate different forms of symptoms resulting from various sources of injuries. Besides, I can now offer several first aids to such different injuries.
