Reflection paper on Operational Excellence
The course of operational excellence has been among my favorite course this semester. As a full-time student, the course enables me to learn how to perform in the future organization I wish to work for. The course allowed me to learn more tactics that I will apply to ensure that our organization emerges the best compared to other organizations (Bruno & Carlos, 2020). Through this course’s knowledge, I will exercise the skills and knowledge I have learned in school and apply them in the future to ensure that our organization is performing better than most organizations.
In class, we learned that Operational excellence is an implementation of the organization approach that is more consistent and is more reliable than its competitors. The course is more concerned about how it can attain goals and objectives and get into competitive to compete with its competitors and emerge as best performing organizations (Bruno & Carlos,2020). We also learned that organizations aim to increase their products’ tastes and preferences to ensure that they can meet the customers’ needs and expectations. The main aim of learning the excellent course is to give us the learners, the duties and roles of ensuring that we have a compelling organization performance.
The knowledge and the skills I have learned in this course have broadened my mind. It has given me opportunities to know and understand how I will perform in my future workplace and work closely with other employees to ensure that we gain a competitive advantage over other organizations. Having an opportunity to enter into a competitive advantage and compete with other organizations merely means that I will handle my customers with a lot of care. I will be there to listen to employees and encourage people to work as teamwork, which will play different essentials roles towards meeting the targeted expectations of organizations.
In the future, I wish to become a senior manager of one of the Coca-Cola firms. The idea of becoming a senior manager came to me when I was growing up, and the time I started differentiating different roles that managers and other employees play towards meeting the organization’s goals and objectives (Ibrahim et al.,2020). When the course of operational excellence was introduced to us, further encouraged me to take this course and aim to hire because I have all the leadership qualities that one requires an organizational leader. The knowledge and skills I covered in this course enabled me to take things positively where I can handle any ask in an organization; I can relate well with all employees and encourage them to work as a team towards attaining the goals of objectives.
As I conclude, I want to recognize the presence of our lecturer, who has been taking us through this course, my fellow students who we have been working closely with towards attaining our goals in school. Finally, my parents have been encouraging me always to improve and work hard until I attain what I have desired to get (Ibrahim et al., 2020). In the future, I will, through this course, maximize the available resources, minimize cost, work closely with all employees, and ensure that our organization remains the top-performing organization. Through the knowledge and skills I gained in this course; I believe I will be the best mangers that everyone will be willing to work with.
