Regarding the transformational leadership skills discussed in our required article reading, how do you think your leadership style is perceived by others?

Generally, there are several exceptional perspectives on what makes a good leader. First, they have strong faith in their beliefs, and they are passionate about what they do. Second, they make difficult choices to enhance the lives of people they are leading. Third, they earn the respect of the team since they show care, empathy and respect to the people they follow them. Further, they understand that persons are key to their success; thus, their lead determines the failure or success of service. Moreover, they serve a greater cause by blending an unparalleled will and personal humility in order to lead others to become better than them (Gächter et al., 2012). Lastly, they articulate a clear vision to reach their goals.

Transformational leadership styles are perceived as leadership whereby a leader works with the crew to ascertain required changes then create a vision to guide the change. Essentially, transformations leadership entails leader encouraging, motivating and inspiring employees to innovate as well as create change, which will eventually help them shape and grow the future success of the healthcare sector. Consequently, transformational leadership is regarded as perceived by others to be effective. The effectiveness of transformational leadership is mostly ascribed to its influence on followers’ view of the organizational goals (Robbins & Davidhizar, 2020). Mainly, transformational leader play a key role to facilitate their followers’ goal quest through convincing them that such goals are attainable and significant.

 

What aspect of the TEACH values discussed in the lesson do you think would most benefit your work environment if adopted?

The aspect of teach values that I think would most benefit my work environment if adopted is the use of leadership in addition to collaboration strategies by healthcare providers to manage care as well as delegate responsibilities for health restoration, illness prevention, rehabilitative action and health promotion. Empathy and kindness can be incorporated with transformational leadership to guide in creating the necessary changes.
