• Were the problem behaviours and/or cognitive distortions clearly identified and specifically described? (e.g. frequency of use, duration, etc)

• The selected theoretical model is clearly described and has been applied appropriately.
• Conceptualisation explained rather than describes the problem behaviours identified.
• Explained all of the identified problem behaviours within the conceptualisation.

• The recommended rehabilitation program is consistent with the case conceptualisation.
• Interventions are clearly and accurately described
• Interventions are appropriate to the problem behaviours and appropriate rationales are provided for inclusion of selected treatment components.
• The recommended rehabilitation program draws from relevant literature (theories and research) on offender rehabilitation
• The recommended treatment program is realistic
• Evidence of broader reading than course materials.

• Clearly identified program objectives and measurable target outcomes.
• Clearly defined and appropriate methodology for evaluating program outcomes.

• Demonstrated knowledge of current literature on specific program effectiveness with the selected offender group.
• Consideration of individual factors that may increase or decrease program effectiveness
• Conclusions regarding potential effectiveness of program are appropriately cautious.

• Body (logical flow of ideas and material)
• Conclusion (summarises/reiterates all main points that you covered in the body of your essay
• Appropriate Structure: addresses all required aspects of the review in a logical format

• Technical accuracy (Grammar, spelling, and punctuation).
• APA formatting (Cover sheet, page numbers, header, margins, headings, paragraphs, spacing etc).
• APA referencing (In text referencing and reference list).
• Length: (parsimonious writing and within 10% of the word limit).
