Renaissance and Specialized Education

Both renaissance and specialized education are advantageous in their ways, but a renaissance is the most relevant type of training. Renaissance education is a form of teaching which instills learners with a wide range of knowledge and skills. Renaissance equips students with multi-skills and gives the learners the advantage of being qualified in different jobs. While specialized form education teaches learners intending to instill  one specific skill. Learners under specialized education are a specialized type of education are only qualified for one job.

The current society has increased a number of unemployment, and adopting renaissance education may serve as a solution. One reason for the emerging high rate of unemployment is due to people having educations skills that do not much job requirements (Charlton, 2013). Therefore, if students were to be taught under the renaissance type of education, they would be qualified for a variety of jobs. With the various skills acquired from the renaissance, it would not be difficult to find a suitable occupation. Renaissance also helps people to be innovative and have additional capabilities, which could be essential later in life.

On the other hand, specialized education teaches students in a specialized way following what they want to become later in life. With specialized, one is spared the exhaustion, which comes with learning multi skills (Meneses et al 2018). However, specialized education limits learners to one ability to restrict their creativity. Workplaces are currently overcrowded, and waiting for the older people to retire to get a job in that particular line of work can be frustrating. Therefore, a specialized form of education is limiting to individuals.

In conclusion, individuals can benefit from the two types of education but could benefit more from renaissance education. Renaissance provides a wide range of skills and enables learners to be qualified for various jobs, which could solve the unemployment issue. Specialized education, on the other end, ties an individual to a specific line of work, which is limiting.
