In particular, the occurrence of the Covid-19 pandemic has overseen the closure of various industries owing to their susceptibility to contracting the virus. Upon closure, most employees have been laid off to mitigate the losses incurred by the companies. The move affects the financial ability to acquire proper nutrition since people have to forego some products to cope with the existing challenges. Furthermore, the restrictions imposed by the government affect logistics to ensure the presence of fresh food products within the market. In return, the supply of notorious food products has been limited more so in urban areas, which further impairs their accessibility.

The various effects have developed based on the feeding behavior adopted in the course of the pandemic. In consideration, people have stocked up food products in their homes, which facilitates excessive eating that develops overweight. Furthermore, people have adopted the consumption of poor diets related to the existing financial challenges. The consumption of poor diets has overseen the development of obesity disorder among the victims. However, I conquer with Azurin’s view that people can solve the effect of poor nutrition by adopting home gardening. The move will help grow fruits and vegetables within homestead from which families will acquire nutritious food products to improve their diets.
