You have shared insightful thoughts in your post by displaying a great understanding of how covid-19 affects different groups of people in the country. With the increasing confirmed cases in all the states, the country needs to brace up for the hard times in the future. Social isolation, to a greater extent, has helped mitigate the spread of the virus. However, long term social isolation and lockdown may cause further societal problems such as increased crimes and poverty (Williams et al., 2020). I also support that living healthy lifestyles and observing the right diet would reduce the fatality cases in the country. Overall, your post is nicely done!

Diabetes is indeed one of the leading challenges today. Several scholars have also established that several social conditions contribute to increased deaths and diseases. For instance, Steve et al. (2016) established that diabetes is a lifestyle disease that requires daily modification of human behaviors in society. They also note that diabetes and other lifestyle diseases are highly prevalent in vulnerable communities, especially for families living under the poverty line. Other interventions to prevent diabetes type 2 include drinking enough water, losing weight, quitting smoking, reducing sedentary behaviors, among other solutions. The community health nurses also need to advocate for the reduction in the consumption of processed foods.
