Research Topic
I have chosen gun control as the research topic owing to the great demand for information in the field. The issue of gun violence is slowly taking roots in the US with cases of deaths from gun attacks being on the rise. The factors behind the increase in gun violence have been attributed to the law, which has been allowing the possession of guns by citizens under the excuse of providing personal security, although people have been taking advantage of the situation. I will be interested in providing more insight into the debates that have been developing on the issue of gun possession and gun control. Also, the research will attempt to highlight the gaps in the law that have been allowing the misuse of the freedom to own guns and the impact of the gaps on the increasing cases of gun violence.
The role of the government in ensuring that the gun violence menace is dealt with will also be assessed, and relevant recommendations are provided. Additionally, the study will try to assess the reasons why the government has been failing in an attempt to curb the menace of the gun violence and coming up with effective gun control policies. The research will consider using face to face interaction with various individuals to get opinions concerning the steps that the government has taken. Also, the research will analyze previous data to familiarize with the trends in gun violence. The question of whether the data required for the study will be available is, however, keeping me from starting the research right away.

Ramos has an interesting topic that is trying to address one of the current issues in society. The debate on the legalization of marijuana is trending, and research on the topic will attract interest from different bodies. The research on marijuana may, however, face the challenge of having insufficient data. Individuals may not be willing to talk about marijuana in public for fear of victimization. Therefore, Ramos should ensure that data will not pose a challenge in the course of the project as such will be a major drawback. However, basing research on Colorado and Washington could be a wise strategy since sufficient data will be available because several years have passed since the issue of legalizing marijuana was introduced in the states. Ramos has therefore selected an interesting topic that will be of great significance to society.

Wesley has chosen to do a topic that relates to the field of operation. The decision on the topic to address appears relevant. However, Wesley should ensure that the topic is interesting and that the motivation to deal with the topic will not fade with time. The issue of artificial intelligence is one of the most recent trends in technology, and thus, the topic will be of great interest if sufficiently tackled. The research may, however, lack data since firms are still in the process of incorporating the technology. However, Wesley can utilize the available data to conclude the study. Generally, the research should be able to answer several questions that might arise concerning the relevance of artificial intelligence.
