According to the Christian worldview, God has a reason for everything and there is nothing He can’t do including healing terminal disease (Lewis, 2018). Faith, therefore, gives people hope and the assurance they need in coping with the diseases (Nerhus & Mooney, 2019). It is, therefore, necessary for healthcare workers to value patients’ faith and use it to encourage the patients to take control of their health and enhance lifestyle changes.

Charles Darwin plays a major role in the explanation of the origin of man and his theories contradict the worldviews of Christians and other religions yet he acknowledged the existence of a higher power (Lewis, 2018).
