Response to Andrew
Hello Andrew, I agree with you in your discussion that the sediments by the attorney that Jefferson was less of a man and more of a hog ruined Jefferson. Jefferson kept on repeating that he was a hog. Jefferson once told Grant that hogs did not care what other people said.
Response to Cameron
Hello Cameron, I support you in your discussion that Jefferson’s response to being referred to as a hog made him believe that he really was one. Jefferson asked Grant whether he had brought corn because it was what hogs ate, and from his mindset, it seems he had considered himself a hog.
Response to David
Hello David, I concur with you in your discussion that Grant and Vivian clearly loved each other and wanted the best for each other. Grant and Vivian respected each other in their relationship, and this was contrary to the relationship between Stanley and Stella. Stanley did not respect Stella, and he fought her severally.
Response to Jordan
Hello Jordan, I agree with you in your discussion that the relationship between Grant and Vivian was in a good state. Grant introduced Vivian to his aunt Tante Lou, Inez, and Miss Eloise, who praised Vivian because of her quality. The relationship between Grant and Vivian seemed different from that of Stanley and Stella because Stanley kept on scolding and fighting Stella.
