I agree that as a flower of Christ, a person’s worldview should revolve within the bible. This is because the bible is essential as it holds the begging of history to the end, and one can use it to navigate lies, relationships, struggles, illness, joy, sorrow, and all sort of things. As a Christian or a believer, a person’s lifeline is anchored to God through his son Jesus. If a person looks at psychopathology, they also look at the nature and development of psychological disorders. From psychopathology and psychology disorder, one can link the Christian worldview with the terms. From the story, the man got compromised, and this led to the current world behaviors. Some of the behaviors include alcohol use and abnormalities like madness and sickness.
However, as believers, aren’t their situations where Jesus also made a miracle of wine for people? (ESV 2001, John: 1-10) In the current world, alcohol has several side effects like depression and bipolar disorder. People can prevent it by never drinking alcohol. But can consuming just a little be appropriate for health and digestion? Moreover, why does the Catholic Church advocate for wine? Can all the world’s problems be related to the consequences of the fall between man and God?
