Resuorviour and fluxes
Egypt depends on Aswan dams located within the Nile river, lake Nasser, lake Marynut, and Edko lake as sources of the fresh quality water source. The flow of water into these reservoirs depends on the volume of water in rivers like Nile and human channeling streams from the coasts. Also, the distribution flux channel by the government to the community location areas is critical (Ali & El-Magd 2016).
Impacts from human
The communities in Egypt have a history of polluting water bodies. A case is for the polluted lake Maryut, and this makes the water quantity and flows into the lake be of low level. Human drainage through sewage and agricultural pollution are key inputs (Egypt Tours Portal 2019).
Impact stakeholders.
Majorly, the farmers are the great contributors of water levels. The farm waste drained into reservoirs, and water withdrawal from fluxes for farming is of huge volume. The municipality also coordinates the collection and challenges of waste to reservoirs. In the current situation, the water levels of reservoirs are low, with a high concentration of pollutants (McKie 2006).
Impacts on population
The community that depends on fishing has no places for their work- pollution affects fish habitation. The agriculture sector has less water to depend on; therefore, food shortage. The quality of drinking water also reduced, and availability is scarce; therefore, water is economically expensive (McKie 2006).
