REVOLUTION

Revolution has been a major context in America’s history to help rebuild the country’s equal state. Most of the revolutionaries worked to ensure that they changed the course of history and achieved revolution that changed Americans’ lives. Slave trade in the United States was the major issue that brought a lot of inequalities in the country, hence the major cause to seek liberty among the Blacks living in the country. Democracy was advocated in the whole country as certain groups were left out, especially in political matters and issues that involved common good for all. Various factors to access different parts of the United States led to different experiences in the United States. The immigration led to increased slavery in the United States, which made most of the revolutionaries seek freedom. Therefore, this paper will look at week’s readings, which will concern war against slavery in the United States and what some revolutionaries did to ensure the war ends.

African Americans used strategies and ideas from the American Revolution to challenge enslaved status. The major strategy that was being used by African Americans is resistance. Most of them decided not to consume any products that were solved to them by the British. The resistance was one way towards revolution as the British continued to face losses from their produce, which led to a decline in the slave trade. Women also played a crucial role in ensuring that the enslaved status was changing. They carried out various tasks such as cooking, nursing, and washing for the soldiers. This strategy allowed the soldiers to get ample time to fight for independence. Lastly, the African Americans sued trials in the courts with the main objectives of ending slavery. They used lawyers who sued the British colonists to exercise equality for women and children working as slaves. This led to the realization of their rights and tended to fight for them.

Women played a crucial role in ensuring that the revolutionary war was successful in America. Among the two women who are involved tirelessly in such wars are Lucy Knox and Sarah Osborn. Their experiences in the American Revolution had some comparisons. The first one is both of them are married to armies. Doing this gave them a direct role in the army, where they all motivated and carried out some duties such as cooking for them, washing, and even mending the soldiers. It gave them the motivation to continue fighting so as they can end slavery in America. The other comparison is that they were all couples who struggled to make sure that revolutionary was a dream comes true. In this essence, they greatly impacted ending slavery and, as women, to show that everyone had an equal role even when it comes to such tasks that would rather be considered men.

In conclusion, the revolution war marked a great end to slavery in America. Most of the African Americans were experiencing a hard time in the social environment due to inequalities. Slavery denied them rights because they had no access to quality education and even good pay. Several strategies were used to challenge the enslaved status, the main one being resistance. They worked together with revolutionaries to make sure that they should end slavery by refusing everything offered by them. It is also important to recognize that women played a crucial role in the revolutionary war.
