Role of Radio and Print media
Question 1
The role of radio in America is to news provided in real-time which is available 24 hours a day for the listeners. Print media shares information through a written interface that is targeted to a particular audience for instance through newspapers and magazines.
Question 2
Compared to other electronic devices like television and the internet, radio and print media are the cheapest and most reliable sources (Campbell, Martin & Fabos, 2018). A radio for instance, is cheap and affordable for every American citizen and the cost of maintenance is also relatively low. Print media is also cheap because you only need to make copies of the original paper. The other news devices are expensive since most use the internet that has to be purchased.
Question 3
Different generations use different devices to obtain daily news in America and across the globe. The cross-generational differences in the use of radio and print media are evident especially in the current generation and therefore more pronounced. The cause of these differences is associated with the social media platforms that have replaced radio and print media.
