Instructions: Continuing to use the Week 2 Business Case project the exercise this week will require you to complete a scope statement similar to Exhibit 7.4 on page 219 of the textbook.
Copy and paste the Business Case you completed on Week 2 into the section below.
Draft a one or two-sentence scope description for this project.
Provide six (6) key deliverables that are required to consider the project to have been completed successfully. Then state what the Acceptance Criteria entails to consider these Key Deliverables completed.
The final step will be to define and identify Exclusions, Constraints, and Assumptions. First, briefly define what these concepts are and then identify these within the scope of your project.
Business Case (copy and paste):
A new Starbucks restaurant project is about to be started in upper Allen Township. The project is going to be developed by coca development, and the objective of the project is to provide
the people of Cumberland parkway and Gettysburg with coffee which is well recognized as one of the best brands globally. Primarily, the project is supposed to begin on August 21, 2020, and will be completed by the end of the year. The reason why the developers chose the site, is because it is centrally located next to the Arbu restaurant and subway sandwich shop, which is suitable for the development project.
Project Scope Statement
Scope Description:
To implement a coffee project within three months in Cumberland parkway and Gettysburg.
Key Deliverables with acceptance criteria (product scope):

Exclusions
Define: These are those things that are outside the scope of the project.
Identify: Additives to coffee such as sugar and milk.
Constraints
Define: These are things that restrict the action of a project.
Identify: Mass production outside the chosen location, Cumberland parkway, and Gettysburg.
Assumptions
Define: This is that which is believed to be true.
Identify: There is a ready market for coffee in the target area.
