Self-Introduction Speech
Life can be full of ups and downs, but how we treat every event that happens in our daily life can determine how we can describe our past and how our future will be. Everyone’s past experiences have a great impact on one’s current state. This is the reason why I choose the word lesson to represent my past. Mine was a bittersweet experience. I have had to fight various battles with great storms, but due to those experiences, I am now aware of my strengths. There have been good moments that i can cherish and, at the same time, very fierce battles that I had to fight. My past life is one thing that I’m grateful for since it has enabled me to learn various lessons, though in a harsh way, but generally a great experience. It has helped me learn, I am also learning at present and will continue learning despite the challenges without losing hope.
At present, I have been having various observations, great knowledge, which has helped in understanding the person I am. This makes me choose exposure as my second word to represent my present. The exposure to events, people, and places has really left a great impression on my personal character, which also is a preparation for the future. I am aware that what will happen in my future will be a result of my present experiences. I am therefore increasing my networks to ensure that I know more people, visit more places and get more education on various things to increase my knowledge. This is all in preparation for my future as I enjoy the present.
Lastly, the word to represent my future is change. I hope that in the coming days, I will be changing for the better, and continuously. Self-improvement and self-realization will be key to achieve it. I hope to have grown in my career immensely and started a family, which will have increased my responsibilities hence the need to have more changes in my life. My environment will have changed also, but now I am knowledgeable that change is inevitable, and there is no need to compare myself with people around me since the things that could apply to them would not necessarily apply to me. Everyone will have their future different since they have different pasts, friends, knowledge, lives, as well as family. It is clear that the past cannot be changed, but we can only learn from it. How we choose to treat lessons from it determines how we live our present lives, and the choices made in our present can help us reach or achieve our set out goals.
