Social media advertising using photos
The project in this picture is exceptionally persuasive and compelling to the audience. The photo of the security guard holding the baby makes it easy for many people to interpret that the baby was being rescued from a terror attack. However, the message written in red makes it easy for people to connect the dots between the photo of the baby and the entire meaning of the advertisement. The message being conveyed is that terrorists are targeting to recruit youths into joining their terrorism groups. Through the photo, it is clear to see that the terrorists are recruiting youths through social media platforms. Most of the commonly used social media platforms have been included in the photo, which are Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter and Instagram. The message targets the youth, and it is used to mobilize youth in being vigilant of terrorists, who are aiming to recruit them online.
The second image is persuasive to the audience and can be easily seen due to the area it has been placed. The billboard has been strategically placed, where many travellers will get to view it. The message includes data collection of annual emissions per vehicle and the amount of carbon dioxide each car emits. The message which is being conveyed using the billboard is that carbon dioxide is being emitted when gasoline is used on vehicles. In contrast, when electricity is used, carbon emissions are minimal. The advertisement is urging people to join the movement in getting less gasoline and using power more because it contributes a more significant part of conserving the environment. The target audience for the message is travellers. All motorists can directly relate to the billboard and are required to make decisions that will help conserve the environment.
