Statistical Analysis Plan
The statistical analysis plan refers to the planned analysis for a clinical trial. It requires a careful review for comprehension and clarity to facilitate the construction of analysis data sets and preparations of intended tables, listings, and figures. A statistical analysis plan for this study will outline the research questions, data set to be utilized, inclusion criteria, study variables, and the statistical software and techniques to be employed. It is based on the expected findings, available data, and the research question of this study. This study will answer the following question: What is the influence of customer focus, leadership, employee involvement, and continuous improvement on quality healthcare provision in Al Shannan General Hospital? The findings will facilitate the identification of the appropriate total quality management (TQM) principles to improve the efficiency of healthcare services delivery and the quality of outcomes, thereby leading to increased healthcare services quality, productivity, patient satisfaction, and profitability.
The data to be used will be collected using questionnaires from the designated nurses, doctors, administrators, laboratory technologists, pharmacists, and director. The study sample will comprise sixty-six employees out of the eighty healthcare personnel of Al Shannan General Hospital, where convenience sampling will serve as the sampling method. An exclusion criteria will be used to select the study sample that will provide a general view of the target population. These criteria will be executed by administering the questionnaires to the appointed participants and picking them from the hospital after a week. This process implies that any of the selected employees who will not have reported to work within that week will not participate in the study; thus, the exclusion. The data analysis will comprise both dependent and independent variables. While customer focus, leadership, employee involvement, and continuous improvement will denote explanatory variables, quality healthcare provision will represent the dependent variable. Finally, the statistical methods and software to be used are descriptive statistics, such as frequency distribution tables and cross-tabulations. The outcomes will indicate the extent to which each independent variable affects the quality healthcare provision. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program will serve as the data analysis software. The outcome will be presented in tables and graphs.
