Sugar is termed to be of negative impact on the brain. This is because the brain works a lot and therefore it requires a lot of energy as compared to all other parts of the body. When the brain gets exposed to a lot of sugar impairment occurs on cognitive skills and self-control. From scientists foods with a lot of sweetness can produce addiction on the brain mostly leading to losses on self-control as well as weight increase. High consumption of sugar from scientists also causes brain inflammation hence leading to difficulties in memory.

Sugar also forms addiction on children and on adults it floods on the brain with dopamine hence forming interferences on the normal functioning of the body. The brain uses glucose as a source of energy to perform those tasks. This glucose naturally is from the sugar. But, an additional sugar on food does not form any dietary point of stand hence only for making foods sweeter only. For sure it doesn’t have any nutritional value to the children. Sugar also leads to short attention span on children’s memories. Consumption of a lot of sugar in children affects attempts of challenging questions which makes the children’s body release the cortisol hormone termed as a stress hormone. This hormone impedes the memory and the child is full of stress at school finding it hard to focus on classwork probably leading to failure.
