- What is RTM?
Requirement Traceability matrix is a document that is used to map and trace the requirement of the user with test cases. This document works by capturing all provisions of the client and traceability as a single document. The RTM, therefore, plays a central role in validating all qualifications which have a link to testing cases. This document is usually prepared by a project manager but allows for updates from leaders working on some conditions. Generally, the RTM is used in mapping what is required to enhance the mapping of particular cases.
