TERRORISM AND POLITICAL VIOLENCE

Introduction

Terrorism and violence are factors that matter in the world today, the authority administrative in most parts of the world have been rendered politically untestable due to constant terrorist attacks and political instability. These threats are brought and supported by the most influential people in society; these can become politicians, business cartels, and other militia.

In the first article, ‘Internet-Based Radicalization as Enculturation to Violent Deviant Subcultures.’ The aspect of subcultural research and the Internet has proven to be of more insight and compared to other headlines. The current age and situations in the world support crimes in a very decent and crafty way. The Internet had been seen to be supporting the crimes through the promotion of some subcultural groups, e.g., gangs, etc. this is happening through social; media inform of music promotion. There is a connection between the Internet and subcultural affairs relating to terrorism. (Thomas, 2017) .Cyber insecurity has taken another level in promoting the same. Technology is the mother of Internet, it has taken terrorisms and political violence to another level, this is supported by Thomas et al. this aspect is very relevant to the current situation of the world dominated by social media, most the militia and their associate cartel do not have time to meet one on one but instead meet through social medial. Despite putting this clear, this article has not stated categories or examples of subcultural groups.

The second article by Henda Y, the aspect of the Situational Terrorism Prevention is one that is relevant to the interest. It suggests that terrorisms are done after a keen analysis of the situation of their targeted location. Inadequate preparedness and corrupt measures in place will create a venue for the attacks. Clarke and Newman suggest that to prevent terrorist attacks, all the potential opportunities have to be removed, and the situation adjusted to counterattack the terrorism act. This article is complicated for new readers since the message is hidden under a lot of words.

In the article by Stuart A. Wright, political change and transitional framework alignment is of the greatest interest. Coming up with another idea that replaces capitalism and communism with religious nationalism through the principle of monocultures ideas. (Stuart,2009)  This was seen to shift the normal paradigm and native ways pf solving and viewing at the terrorism. The interest of this fact is based on two reasons; first, it was successful in the past period s during the cold war, this experience and the prowess is projected to be fine and active. Secondly, the generation of new waves that merged national security and immigration affairs. This combination is sort of being useful as far as dealing with terrorism, and political violence is concerned.

This article has not touched something the role of socio-economic factors amidst the political considerations.

What are the signs that can tell and predict that terrorists are planning to attack a particular location?

Conclusion

In the discussions and presentation of topics that drains  development such as terrorism and political violence, keen analysis and prior preparedness should be done as early as possible to prevent potential risks and effects of terrorism and its associated risks.
