The constitutional right of the accused
There are different ways of identifying suspects like lineups, which happens where various suspects are in a lune, and the prosecutor is supposed to identify the main criminal. Another method is composite identification, where the police can use media to identify the suspect. In some cases, there can also be a sketch artist who the prosecutor is supposed to describe him or her, and the face of the suspect is drawn. The last is fingerprints, which are the main methods used. With the fingerprints, the suspects will be identified as the location where he or she might be. In the case, fingerprints were used on Mr lee’s case, and some of the illegal evidence found had his fingerprints.
The constitutional right of the accused
Despite being accused, one has rights that should be respected, and some of the rights include; rights of participation in politics and civil society such as freedom of association. Right to vote, right to self-defence, right to petition and right to fair trials is implemented according to the constitution. In Mr lee’s case in his trials, the same rights are applied to ensure that the judgement if fair and just according to the constitution.
