As the topic says, “The Dead Dealer,” Yves Klein had signed many deals in preparation for his death. Klein had several heart attacks, which made him know his death was almost. For example, there was a time Klein wrote his will when with his friends. Also, there was a time Klein had staged his burial in one of his works. The story had the image of Klein lying under the decorated grave, expressing his death. Klein ensured that how he explains his death made it had a devastating taste. Klein was trying to say that the painter of space can thrive through the end of freedom, accordingly.
Klein portrayed the work of modern art. Klein’s contemporary art has particular importance to performance in which people view art as for the selected group. There are various types of art, the traditional and modern, which express multiple groups. Klein brought the medium of performance in the art. Both long and short term elements emerged to pressure contemporary artists to surface their work. Klein’s book’s main point was to forget about the traditional method and deal with modern ways. A new way’s motivational approach was found in the right direction to ensure people are on the right track.
Klein expressed himself and was viewed as the other modern artist found in the postwar era. Klein wanted to turn into a contemporary artist too. Therefore, he adjusted and familiarized with the cultural performance that expressed the modern culture. The Realists and impressionists gave way forward in dealing with the artistic interpretation of contemporary art. Also, the realist and impressionist were represented by entertainment from magicians and clowns. The clowns and magicians had their noble and fashionable presentation because it was presenting a modern world. From the reading, Picasso was the magician who adjusted to the contemporary art type, while Dali decided to remain conservative.
In the past, there were two opposed spheres based on culture. The opposed spheres on the culture surfaced before the fine-art medium was presented to the world. Klein gathered the traits of the culture on the spheres systematically. The categorical arrangement of cultural art in 1960 enabled the surfacing of its independence and identity. The traditional art proves the art’s insufficient importance, contrary to what Klein is trying to frame the modern art as vital. Despite the controversies and other few confusion issues, the focus is directed to Klein’s work of art after his premature death, before the age of thirty-four years. Thus, the Anthropometrics were used to criticize Klein’s artwork, equivalent to the other work of art.
There are aspects Klein did not buy, regarding the modernization of art. The situationist concept did not bother Klein. Also, Klein did not make frequent visits to the clubs, like most people who aspire to be a modern artist. Klein was patient and got involved in his work to the extent that it drew many on how he made a unique approach. Klein’s practice is why he will remain the legend, after dying at an early age, before thirty-four years. Thus, the title, “The Dead Dealer,” suits Klein for his significant impact in the modern art industry before his death.
