The Environment Is On Vacation
Introduction
As the newly respiratory disorder (Covid-19) unveiled across the world, it has caused a lot of death, infections and has paralyzed the world economy. However, the pandemic has brought along intense effect on the environment but they are not directly linked to daily activities thus, it’s not noticeable by a large group of individuals (Aljazeera, 2020). The purpose of this research is to discuss the environmental benefits brought by Coronavirus.
The Benefits of Coronavirus
In China, scientists have recorded a decrease in carbon gas emission as the movement of people is reduced thus, fewer industries are still functional and there is low fuel-burning which emits the greenhouse gas. These results to a decrease in atmospheric temperatures and thus skies are reimbursing of pollution. Since the atmosphere is becoming clear, oxygen present is of quality level in the globe’s major towns. Additionally, the pandemic has greatly shown the world’s environmental associations and campaigners on how important it is to control carbon gas emotions. Therefore, they have developed platforms where they are emphasizing the transportation companies and industrial manufacturers to mitigate and reduce large emissions of carbon gas which will greatly be an advantage on the current and future generation’s environment (Corlett, 2020).
Another area which is least addressed but has benefited from the Covid-19 pandemic is the sea that supports aquatic life. It is an important part of the environment for both animals and human survival. The reduced transportation of goods and humans in the essence of decreasing the spread of Covid-19 has compacted the activities of shipping. Therefore, it has directly led to a decrease in sea and lake pollution in the globe. The feeders of oceans and lakes are majorly the conjoining rivers which recently are considered clean due to less human interaction on them. Additionally, ship movement is minimized and as a result, there are reduced cases of oil and fuel leakage on water bodies (Hamwey, 2020). Due to this, a normal land, as well as the sea breeze, is experienced, and sea animals are enjoying a clean environment which enhances their reproduction thus, there is a rise in indigenous species.
Conclusion
In summary, the pandemic has beneficial results which are mainly related to the environment. The air is fresher and free from toxic chemicals while skies are at liberty from pollution. Sea, lakes and rivers are also free from pollution thus promoting the survival of sea animals. Lastly, there is a reduction in greenhouse gas emission due to the limited movement of people and industrial activities.
