The management’s four primary functions include planning, organizing, leading, and controlling and must be applied in any firm or industry for them to realize a set goal, missions, and the vision. The four functions are interdependence, and each role relies on the other for it to be successful.
Planning is critical and involves setting an organization’s goals and giving out clear guidelines on attaining the set goals. Identifying the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and Threats of the business is essential for proper planning. The SWOT analysis completes the real strategy and does adequate planning for the business organization’s effective running. Consequently, the management should be organized and create a conducive working environment to achieve maximum productivity of the business by ensuring all the stakeholders corporate well through proper etiquette. Besides, the management team gives the employees their various roles and duties and ensures they comprehend how to deliver according to the company’s expectations. Allocating of responsibilities is done based on the individuals’ potential and abilities borrowed from the planning function.
Further, if the managers have good leadership qualities such a good time management, the subordinates will be eager to attain organizational objectives. The government should use interpersonal skills to make a positive relationship with large companies. Doing so will give junior workers morale to perform their duties effectively and attain the company’s goals and objectives.
Additionally, controlling ensures that the performance corresponds with the standards of the company. The managers complete the plan overview, are in charge and provide performance standards in terms of monetary terms such as profits and costs. Further, the management should control the production, operational processes, service delivery rules, and compliance with company policies.
