The Samba
Listening to good music is one of my hobbies. I have been listening to music for quite some time, and I cannot help but realize the changes that have occurred in the industry in five years. I appreciate good music, and I also have the notion I have good taste when it comes to music given that its both a passion and a subject I have been studying in school. People, however, do have a different way of making their music depending on their audience. I recently attended a concert in Brazil. I consider this a lifetime experience as having travelled that far for a show was one of my significant achievements. The concert was about a traditional music genre known as Samba. Samba is a prevalent form of music in Brazil that entails a lot of body movements.
The concert was fascinating as the music played had a unique element. Since it was my first time in the country, and I possessed scattered knowledge of the native language. However, the music had a unique feature in terms of its lyrism. It also involves a lot of well-coordinated dances which makes it very interesting to watch. The artists possessed great vocals which complemented the equally well-orchestrated instruments which were well synchronized, bringing out a fantastic tune. The concert was exciting but since I couldn’t enjoy to the fullest due to lack of command of the local language.
The Samba, which is a traditional genre that has get passed from generation to generation, shows no sign of slowing down. It is, therefore, advisable for people to appreciate good music and help them evolve instead of seeing them die.
