The United States is always focused on achieving a picture-perfect nation, one that every citizen would be proud to be associated with. Based on the ideologies written down during independence, which were meant to guide the country to realize greater achievements, which included the pursuit of happiness and liberty in deciding one’s leadership. Currently, amid calls of irregularities in the recently concluded general elections is a threat to the ‘American dream’ virtues,’ which I feel it’s the government’s duty to uphold.

Furthermore, the government should strive to achieve good housing in the cities and all its citizens as part of the project to achieve a perfect state for all. In the modern world, what keeps dragging us back is the racial division we experience. One cannot inhabit a certain area because he belongs to a different race is still a black spot. According to Truslow Adams, achieving a world that would be fruitful and fuller to everyone would be a dream come true. Consequently, education should be made affordable from the primary level to the highest level. The government should also offer scholarships to those who may not afford either undergraduate or postgraduate education.

Creating a country with a near-perfect justice system and a working police department would address police brutality issues that have recently been spiked after cases of police killing residents of certain states. The recent uproars causing looting and destruction of property, which has painted the country negatively. Lastly, I think that the dream is achievable, and we should work towards achieving it.
