The wrath of Khan is a science fiction movie of Kirk and his long time enemy Khan. Khan is determined to revenge on his wife’s death and gain control over the genesis device that is believed to bring dead things to live by making things on the planet flourish but kill everything living on it. Kirk deals with space studies and tasks with the starship enterprise and is almost retiring due to his old age. He is thus in the midst of training a new crew to replace him. On the other end, Chekov and his current commanding captain Terrell are on surveying the planet for the secret science project; Genesis device in their Reliant ship.
Khan hijacks the reliant ship and sticks mind control earworms on Chekov and Terrel. He uses both of them to request for the genesis device to be released and kill Kirk. His plan, however, fails since kirk is informed of the situation by carol Marcus whom they had a son with(David) and Chekov choose not to kill kirk. When they find the space station team dead, they repair the Enterprise and using their code speaking; they fool Khan that the Enterprise is completely damaged since they knew he was listening and headed to meet him.
Both ships begin fighting, and it is when Khan in the verge of death activates the Genesis device. With the busted engine, the Enterprise cannot escape the explosion, and thus Spock decides to sacrifice his life over his team by entering the engine room to remain the Enterprise engines. He successfully repairs it before the devices explode, but he dies in the process with Khan and the Reliant. Kirk and his team finally hold a funeral for Spocks and afterwards Kirk and his son David reunite after a long time of hatred from David.
