Assistive technology has developed six assistive gadgets for people living with a disability. These gadgets aim to help one in making work more accessible. They have different devices with a different types of disability. They are of great advantage to the disabled and in interaction with the other people.
To start with, Elite-ware, which is commonly used by people with disorders and who are being faced with tremors. The gadget helps in balancing and stabilizing when taking meals. The elite-ware is simple, portable, and easy to clean. “top 6 assistive technology.”
Still on that, assistive technology brings a touch-free phone, Open-Sesame, which is used by people who do not have hands or their hands are weak. This phone is being opened, and it starts following the user’s heads. The movement of the head controls the cursor. The phone usually performs like any other.
Besides that, assistive technology has a Talkitt device that helps the people who are not in a position to talk or those that give out unclear words. The device translates the words being said by the disabled. Talkitt does not only used by the young ones but also by the aged.
Axsmap is another gadget the assistive technology has to help one get to their destination. Mostly it made life more accessible to people who usually have a wheelchair. It is an online application that gives a clear target and still how long you need to get there.
Access revolution is what the assistive technology had when it comes to queuing, finding directions, or even making an order. The application helps the service provider to know that they are expecting someones, thus making work less. This avoids distractions to the other people hence you to stop being a burden to the crowd.
