The three tourist destinations that I found most suitable are; the Scarborough Beach resort, the Lake District, and Edinburg as a historical town. The first coastal site is essential because it offers a wide array of activities as compared to other coastal attraction centers. The second area, the Lake District, offers beautiful scenery and a chance for seclusion. Finally, the third area, Edinburg, provides a clear history of Scotland using fun activities and historical buildings.

Natural features
A tourist may enjoy boating in Peasholm Park.
Daring tourists would also enjoy the sky trail adventure beam in North Bay (Discover Yorkshire, 2020). Moreover, the Scarborough Sealife Sanctuary has penguins and other intriguing sea creatures.
The area consists of 16 glacial lakes like lake Windermere, Ullswater, Derwentwater, and Coniston water (Rogers, 2020).
The Lake District national park has beautiful scenery, the area’s tallest peaks, and the most prominent lakes.
The most important tourism site in Edinburg is the Edinburg Castle (This is Edinburg, 2020). The castle stands on top of castle rock. One can explore the oldest buildings in the city from inside the Edinburg castle.
Also, the Blair Street underground vaults are thrilling tours that entrance tourists with the ghoulish stories of residents living in the area in ancient times.
Facilities
There are many holidaymakers in Scarborough, with facilities ranging from hotels to restaurants with cuisines composing of seafood.
Although highly clustered, tourists can travel by car to different sites and find parking spaces early in the morning. Apart from personal vehicles, one can use open-top buses or walk to their destinations. Sports activities include a ride on the miniature railway or swim in the Alpamare waterpark.
Home to many writers, Lake district a 17th-century farmhouse at Hill Top, where Beatrice Potter (writer of the Tale of Peter Rabit) once lived (Rogers, 2020).Another great artist’s home, British poet William Wordsworth, the Dove cottage, is a lake land home that contains the poet’s belongings.
Tourists can also enjoy a hike at the Catbell High Ridge.
Visitors can enjoy accommodations and fresh foods at the bed and breakfast hotels in the area.
Also, tourists may spend time in cottages such as Sally’s cottages, or book camping spots.
The best way to move around the area is by foot to avoid destroying the landscape.
Edinburg contains camera Obscura, a sport or entertainment facility that obscures people’s visions or provides false illusions. The facility includes puzzles, tricks, and ‘magical’ effects that entice visitors.
The Royal botanic garden in Edinburg and the city’s zoo treat tourists to the serene nature of outdoor activities. People can enjoy taking pictures of the UK’s giant pandas and other animals (This is Edinburg, 2020).
There are many hotels with different price ranges that are suitable for any class of tourists.
People can travel to different sites using buses, taxis, bikes, and on foot.
Local traditions
The Peasholm Park is famous for its rare trees that were thought to be extinct; the Dickson Golden elm species (The Scarborough News, 2020).
The coastal area also hosts the 2500-year-old Scarborough castle and the Rotunda Museum (Discover Yorkshire, 2020).
Lake District has a significant art history. Therefore, it hosts annual summer exhibitions for local artists (Rothay Garden, 2016).
The lake district also hosts an annual summer-long musical festival further to encourage artistic creativity (Rothay Garden, 2016).
The city contains peculiar but unique and exciting traditions. For instance, people spit on the heart of Midlothian outside St. Giles Cathedral as a show of distaste for the gruesome prosecutions that took place in the area centuries ago (Parliament House Hotel, 2017).
The Lake District attracts tourists by providing information on every destination in social media channels and pamphlets. Therefore, they increase people’s curiosity about the area. Also, artists are drawn to the area since many former artists rose to fame in the Lake District. Inbound and domestic visitors often revisit the town after their first visit as it has many beautiful sceneries. Over two-thirds of the visitors are domestic UK citizens who assert that the over 85% f the locals in the area are friendly and accommodating. Foreign tourists also state that the city has a wide range of outdoor activities (Visit Britain, 2016). Therefore, with the extensive choices of accommodation facilities, activities and sites, and friendly locals, Lake District provides high levels of satisfaction to domestic and foreign visitors.
