Trump Angered by Media Failure’s to Report Joe Biden’s Exaggeration about Coronavirus Deaths

President Donald Trump, on Friday, aimed his scathing attack on the media for failing to capture the exaggeration that Joe Biden made about Coronavirus deaths. The Democratic presumptive candidate claimed that COVID-19 might have claimed over 120 million Americans during his campaign trail in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on Thursday.

The media and the general public has for a long time, recognized Biden for his penchant for gaffes. It was the same action that cost Biden’s 2008 presidential ambition, forcing the former Delaware senator to opt-out of the race to carry the Democrat’s flag. He had referred to his then-rival, Barrack Obama, as an articulate “nice-looking” African-American who is only fit for storybooks.

Trump returned the heat on the Democrats and media for the gaffe.

It only took the Republican candidate to register his frustration at media houses for being lenient to his rival in the 2020 Presidential contest. Trump wondered why media had not made Biden’s remark a hot topic even though it was misleading. He wondered if “the Fake Media” would’ve spared had he “said something mortifyingly stupid.” The President hinted that the media would’ve shown vengeance and fanned the narrative had he said the same thing.

In a Facebook post, Trump called Biden corrupt for alleging that over 120 million people had died of Coronavirus in the US. Statistics indicate that the pandemic has claimed the lives of at least 124000 Americans. It was Biden’s first campaign journey after the lockdown, and the former Vice President chose to start it from the state where he was born.

While the media seemingly took the issue as a gaffe, Trump was categorical that it was “beyond a normal mistake’. He used a video from ABC News to register his displeasure and to indicate what media houses were classified as a gaffe.

The White House’s chief resident appeared in Fox News show that Sean Hannity hosted, and told the viewers that Biden’s utterance couldn’t be forgiven. He termed it as a “serious error” in the wake of a pandemic that continues to claim significant lives. Trump explained that the issue shouldn’t be taken lightly, considering that it concerned the “the presidency of the United States,” making it unacceptable.

He continued to aim his jibe at Biden, accusing the former Vice President of his inability to join two constructive sentences. Trump regretted that “the guy who doesn’t talk” because no one was interested in hearing was making such scary remarks when he got a rare opportunity to speak.

Before leaving the White House for a campaign rally in South Carolina, Trump rebuffed reporters, accusing them of fighting tooth and nail to instill fear in people. He singled out CNN among other news outlets that collaborate with his rivals in pursuit “to gain political favors by saying a lot of untruths.”

It was a war that Trump required more than his administration, and his eldest son Donald Trump Jr was punctual to him. Trump, Jr accused his father’s rival of harboring the interest to see the widespread of infections and deaths. The young Trump took an issue with the New York Times reporter who had previously termed the infection as Trump Virus.

Other instances where Joe Biden had been involved in exaggerations

Several years after the death of his first wife, Neila, who perished in an automobile alongside the daughter, Biden accused the truck driver involved in the collision of being drunk during the ugly incident. However, the judge who ruled in the case never found any indication involving alcohol with the event.

Biden found himself facing sharp criticism after he joked about his Indian-American support base in Delaware. He said that Indian-American is the race that’s witnessing the most significant growth in the state that he represented. The foreign policies’ expert went ahead to claim how it was impossible to go to 7-Eleven or Dunkin’ Donuts if you lacked an Indian accent.

In February during the Democrat Presidential Debate, Biden made the viewers tongue-tied when he sensationally alleged that more than 150 million Americans had lost their lives through gun-related ordeals. While in the actual sense, statistics indicates that 373663 Americans have died through gun violence since 2007.
