If Gregor were given a chance, he would relieve his life for sure. Gregor is a selfless individual who has worked the whole of his life taking care of his family. He has worked all of his life to satisfy the needs of his family. Gregor has not worked on his personal life leading to him not exploring personal pursuits in life. It is evident that based on Gregor’s story that taking the entire responsibility of a family will most likely lead to the destruction of self. Gregor should have focused more on personal aspects and ambitions which would have led him into living a more satisfying life in general.
Reliving his life Gregor should have interacted more with his family. The misunderstanding he got was mainly due to the lack of understanding in his family. Understanding one’s aspects would have significantly influenced his way of life. The bond that is created by giving his family more time would have led to the family understanding more about Gregor’s personality. The relationship between him and his father would have been more significant, and it would be easier for them to support him during his time of need.
Gregor would have focused more on his love life. Despite his age, Gregor still lived with his family. He had a picture of a lady in his room but was not in any relationship with any lady. Having one person who would understand him would surely have even prevented him from transferring into his newfound state of being a bug. The love that he would be given by a loved one would surely change the way of life significantly that he would have lived during his transformation.
Gregor should also have focused more on his needs. Helping others is a noble act that should be emulated. However, it is wise to note that individuals need one when you are in a position to help. Despite the many favours that Gregor had done to his family, they still ended up abandoning him during his time of need.
In conclusion, Gregor relieving his life in a different way would have significantly affected his way of life. His quality of life was highly influenced by the type of life that he lived. Gregor is an individual who has greatly been misunderstood .despite giving his best to cater for the family needs, and he is underappreciated and in his time of need abandoned by the very same people that he had given his all to support. The story is an indication of how being selfless to a family may lead to one’s destruction. At his time of death, Gregor died an individual void of love, understanding and an individual who would give her all for him. The story is an indication of how individuals should strive more for personal goals and ambitions since even family will tend to get tired of an individual despite the struggles that one has undergone on their behalf.
