It is also important to note that the war on the Filipinos was based on secession rather than conformity. For instance, while the Chinese were being bombed for increasing competition in the job, market-the Filipinos were being threatened to concede and accept defeat. The bombing of the clubhouse in Stockton-is an example of how the Filipinos and the Chinese fought differently.
