There are various forms of disabilities. These can include physical, visible, invisible or otherwise. At times, most of the limitations are resulting from the hereditary or rather issues related to pre-birth development. Disability can as well result from injuries, ailments, chemical imbalances and, at times, environmental factors. For public venues, disabled persons should be well taken care of to make their operations more straightforward. At times, I get frightened, seeing a blind person entering a sporting event with no assistance to care for him/her.
On the physical disability, there are those with mobility problems. Since persons who are having difficulties with mobility might be stopped at various barriers minus people noticing, the public venues need to be designed in a manner that favours them. For example, some venues are designed with high curbs as well as flight stairs. People having mobility problems often come to mind whenever the accessibility of such an area is mentioned.
Limited utilization of arms and hands- some people have difficulties using hands and arms. These persons find it hard in their mobility in various areas they go to. At times, people with such disabilities get hard and frustrated in assessing different areas which no aids. Public venues must-have items which are assisting these people in moving from one place to the other. For instance, buildings should be built in a manner that those on wheelchairs can access it.
Speech difficulties- some have problems with the speeches. Thus, they have challenges in communications, or they cannot communicate well. In most cases, event organizers take care of such individuals by arranging on how they can get what is described in the event smoothly. In summary, it is essential to look into various problems that might arise with all customers attending an event.
