VIJAY ESWARAN AND THE QI GROUP OF COMPANIES
Vijay Eswaran is a famous Malaysian entrepreneur and the founder of the QI Group of companies which is headquartered in Hong Kong. QI group is a diversified multinational company with other subsidiary companies located in about 30 countries. The QI group provides up to date technologies and expands through investments that lead to the generation of improved products and services to clients across the globe. The company particularly focuses on entrepreneurship, technology, lifestyle, education and traveling as well.
Vijay Eswaran is also a renowned international speaker and author of various books, the most recent one published in 2016 being Two Minutes from the Abyss. As a way of giving back to the society, Vijay Eswaran founded the RYTHM and Vijayaratnam foundations in 2005, intending to enhance community development and champion for women empowerment.
In addition, the foundations were set to finance children with special needs in Asia, Africa and the entire Middle East. Towards the beginning of 2011, Vijay Eswaran launched the Quest International University Perak (QIUP) and later founded QNET limited, promoting an e-commerce platform.

During the Concordia Annual Summit, Vijay discussed about the usefulness of education in business and entrepreneurship and the duties of women entrepreneurs in India and Asia. According to Eswaran, most Asian Universities inactivate their curriculum by the time students complete their studies.
To counter this problem, Vijay Eswaran through the QI Group, made student empowerment as one of their main objectives. Eswaran has achieved this through the establishment of the Asian University which has changed numerous lives to the people of Asia. Vijay Eswaran is an example of a disruptive leader who focuses on growing his company and at the same time, empowering different people through his philanthropic activities around the globe to boost their living standards.
