What role does PRD (Product Requirements Document) play in an Agile environment of product development?
The product requirement document is a document detailing the specific product definitions of the planned product is highly focused on the solutions to be delivered. The Product Requirement Document (PRD) originates from the collaboration of teams in the product’s development and management sector of the company producing the product. The product management sometimes is required to develop the product requirement document, and when this happens, they are expected to maintain focus on the high-level view of the product. An agile environment is a company that seeks to create and support agile project management through the use of the agile methodology. The agile methodology relies on the key aspects of the agile manifesto to push the requirement process. These key aspects include; working software over comprehensive documentation and people and interactions over tools and processes. Agile companies or organizations do not create a formal product requirement document to define the product created, and the details of the requirement are made to support the development phases.

Intel decided to acquire Mobileye, an Israel tech firm, for $15 billion to produce automated vehicle systems that would see its revenue and profits rise in the years to come. Automated cars have been on the rise in recent years due to the technological advancement in autonomous vehicles in the automobile industry. Thus, through this investment, Intel projects that the profits will be higher by 2030 because of the market opportunity will have increased in addition to the data services and vehicle services. b. (40 points) From a product manager perspective, conduct a SWOT analysis and
answer the question: do you agree with the acquisition? (limit max 150 words)
Strengths Weakness Opportunities Threats
• Cloud connectivity
• Computing
• Market opportunity Intel does not have any experience with autonomous vehicles Mobileye already had 27 car manufacturers including some of the biggest car makers in the world like BMW Other autonomous vehicle companies like Telsa and Valeo
I agree with Intel’s move to acquire Mobileye because the move is smart and will provide Intel with ban opportunity to expand its market outreach. The use of autonomous vehicles is becoming popular since most people appreciate technology. Autonomous vehicles also provide an opportunity for people to reduce their carbon footprint, and they can achieve through the use of electric cars which are automated. Intel will also be able to maintain its relevance in the technology industry because it is expanding its portfolio and acquiring Mobileye not only allows the company to invest in a new industry but in a new country which will increase its international market.
