PART 2: 6.04
Step 1
The questions require one to write a one-paragraph editorial that backs imperialism in China. However, one has to remember that the person is writing from the viewpoint of a resident of a European imperialist country. Besides, one has to apply the data acquired in the lesson on how colonization promoted imperialist countries to support the statements with proof.
As a legal resident of Europe, it is thought that imperialism can work in the long run to back both nations. As every person knows the way people live in Europe is merely true and correct way. However, all other countries that are different from the legal resident of Europe as brutal and uncivilized. The legal resident of Europe is doing China a favour by trying to educate them and introduce them to the culture. In return for assisting the people of China in this way, China can offer the people of Europe with the natural capitals that are needed. People require silk, tea, and porcelain, among other natural assets, and China has too much of these products anyways.
Additionally, China is a fragile country. Besides, it is much too large for its administration to control and run it efficiently. Thus, people of Europe are doing a favour for China through colonizing it.
Step 2
This question requires one to write a one-paragraph editorial that rubbishes imperialism in China. However, one has deliberate the statements made in the first editorial encouraging imperialism and apply the proof from the instruction to hostage them. Moreover, being an educated European legal resident, one can differ with what the Europeans are undertaking to China. For beginners, people of China don’t care about their civilization and administration. Besides, the people of Europe are calling it brutal and uncivilized and trust that the way is the merely way to live.
Moreover, their civilization is older and extra well-known than that of the Europeans. The people of Europe have no respect for Chinese philosophies or cultures. The people of Europe are stormed into their property and tried to take all their natural assets.
To add on, image how the people of Europe would feel or respond if some other nation tried to do that to them. At first, the people of Europe did offer compensation with gold and silver, but then after an extended and horrifying war, the people forced China to accept compensation in opium. However, this has triggered a terrible drug wide-ranging in the nation of China. What the people of Europe are doing is discriminating and unpleasant. Just because the people of China have a weak administration doesn’t mean that the people of Europe should be handling them like this.
