In the previous research on improving mental health treatments, we had varied data shreds of evidence that included qualitative and quantitative research, and mixed methods research. All the papers reviewed in different categories using different pieces of evidence aimed at meeting the criteria for the study. This criterion was based on the problem that there exist many people with mental illnesses who receive poor treatment. It was thus essential to carry out the research to identify ways in which the administration of treatment to the affected people can be improved. The evaluation was aimed at enhancing the programs and setting better directions for the future.
The sequential development approach demands that standards be set, be developed, and utilized by test developers. It is the test developers who provide a proper guideline for the structure and content to be assessed. The criterion is advantageous in such a way that it provides for the application of initially developed documents to the subsequent ones in a logical manner (Munhall, 2012). Expert reviews thus entirely rely on opinions set forth by knowledgeable professionals for research assessments.
Social Change
As evidenced by the previous research, healthcare or general public health is a vital aspect of the people’s welfare. However, despite being an essential service, the reviewed articles revealed that there are several people either did not get access to proper treatment by virtue of inadequacy or poor social relationships with the service providers. This would include setting a proper plan and advice to medics on how they relate with the people who need their services. It is this positive social change that will impact and create real change on a global scale. An incidence regarding this from the previous research is a state where doctors cannot access mental health treatment because of the lack of facilities that offer these services. As an agent of positive change, it is thus prudent enough to advise the involved organizations of the essence of equally distributing the services. This would then require that in improving mental health treatment, mental health facilities be installed at all health centers.
