When starting a new and innovative technology company, there is a need for considering different aspects of the company is to be effective in achieving the set goals. For the company, I will consider the culture, management as well as leadership for the organization. If the organization is to achieve its set objectives, certain employee traits must be considered. The type of employees employed must be in line with the organizational culture of empowering culture and the culture of innovation.

Characteristic of employees

In this new technology company, employees must anticipate the need for their present team. They should not sit around until their bosses on any new project follow them. They should always ask themselves what the team and organization needs and how they can add value to the team. Additionally. They should ever think one step ahead of the team and anticipate potential challenges that the organization might face. One must take ownership and make things happen in achieving things (Dhir, 2019). On the other hand, people must be willing to give solutions rather than problems. Mediocre workers in the organization will bring attention to problems, but I am willing to work with exceptional employees that provide suggestions for problems. This means being on the solution side of life, and they give positive energy to the organization.

Further, people must be accessible and responsive without isolating themselves from the team. They are always available for boosting the productivity of the team, where the team is still counting on them to make responses and move the project forward since they understand that communication is vital. Moreover, the effective employee must be a non-anxious presence where they listen to a full story when another member brings an issue and then reacts to then in rational and calculated responses (Huikkola et al., 2017). They should also have the heart of a servant where they approach the work to serve the team. All these qualities are important since they help in achieving the intended culture for the organization.

Leadership traits in employees

Certain leadership traits must be in the employees. They include; having a vision where they see beyond just today and tomorrow having long term commitment to the organization. Further, they should be optimistic, ready to inspire, and motive the other workers with an upbeat attitude. They are optimistic means that mostly the employee will focus on what is positive and adopt a hopeful attitude (Huikkola et al., 2017).  Further, there is a need for having adaptability where one is flexible about the approach they use to address different situations. Having communication skills helps in instructing the other team members concerning their mistakes and feedbacks. Still, they should have confidence where one is aware of their abilities and are not afraid of their responsibilities and pressure.

Organizational culture and employee experience

For every employee, they are accessing their experience help in understanding their experiences at work, their interactions as well as their ability to follow set guidelines. For our employees, their past experiences have shown that they have been excellent team members who are ready to follow instructions as well as have the ability of adaptability and optimism. The organizational culture of my new technology company is guided by the statement “where fun meets inspiration for bringing out the best” (Wilcock, 2019). This will range from having rooftop meetings, yoga classes, and there is a team-oriented environment which will give everyone the motivation to achieve the company’s goals. The culture encourages the company’s value should mean a lot to the employees. It will help in the building of a culture where all the fellow minded colleagues get to inspire each other to work and perform better. A team that has pleasant and friendly members can never be beaten since they enjoy what they are good at and love doing. Still, the organizational culture for the organization is that it does not hold back workplace fun, ensuring it is not miserably stressful, and employees have their time for personal growth.  Additionally, trust is vital in the company’s organizational culture of the new technology company.

Ways of fostering innovation in the organization

In the organization, being the founder, I will lead from the front where I’m passionate about the work showing employees positivity and an optimistic outlook of things, which helps in driving the real drive and clear vision. Further creation of a culture of innovation where employees have the space of feeling independent enough to own their innovative things and pursuing their ideas that they are passionate about (Dhir, 2019). Creation of a creative and open environment, then innovation will automatically be the organization’s culture. Benchmarking against the best in the technology companies will help in spotting the niche in the market and learning different ways of being innovative and inventive. The management of the organization will be flat to give opportunities for open communication and encourage confidence in employees. All the methods to be adopted must ensure there is a genuine pathway for ideas in turning to reality within the organization.
