The Residency Presentation Experience
Hallo. To describe the residency program as just fine would be litotic. Everything from the hospitability, discussion sessions, presentations, as well as outside-class facilities was all very well thought-out and thoroughly planned. The college’s administration outdid themselves in ensuring that each one obtained a unique customized fulfilling experience at this year’s residency program.one of the significant defining moments of this year’s residency was the presentation programs. I feel that all presentations regarding various topical issues e.g., threats to database security, security framework, federal legislation, commercial standards, as well as emerging technologies, were all very thoroughly explored. The issues and ideas addressed by these presentations were very adequately and uniquely put across, thereby making this program to be very educational and a significant increment in knowledge regarding database security.
I was a little nervous during the presentation, and for a moment, I thought that my delivery skills were not very apt. The encouraging looks I received from the tutor and the rest of the students was very invaluable and surged me to continue with the presentation. The audience was very keen and did not fake any interest as well as concentration. I found the presentation process to be beneficial, as some of the students approached me after and expressed their gratitude. They claimed that the presentation had simplified and clarified some of the major concepts that they were having trouble with, and this is amazing.
Additionally, the questions asked after the presentation were all very thought-provoking and made me evaluate some of the concepts differently, and this was exciting. I found the presentation to be a transactional process since it provided a platform for more knowledge to be exchanged, and this is very effective. I look forward to the next residency program.
