Call to Order

The meeting was called to order by City Mayor E. Holder by indicating the city’s commitment to providing alternate formats and communication for councils and provided channels where inquiries for information could be obtained.  The chair, who was the Mayor, thanked the members for obliging to the new set of rules occasioned by COVID-19.

Disclosure of Pecuniary Interests

Councilor M. Salih disclosed a financial interest concerning the report of the Community and Protective Services Committee on the partnership of London and Middlesex Local Immigration regarding WIL Counseling and Training for Employment. Mayor E. Holder also disclosed a financial interest in the report of the Community and Protective Services Committee concerning new licensing and renewal of license and the fact that an individual had to indicate that they had family in the food business

Recognition

The Mayor recognized all the individuals and institutions involved in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Review of Confidential Matters to be Considered in Public

The chair read out a motion that was moved by Councilor A. Hopkins and Seconded by S. Hillier. All the 15 members passed the proposal that required approval for the Closed Sessions of the Council to be considered after Stage 13, all By-laws excluding the only Bill no. One hundred thirty-six to be considered before adjournment at stage 14 and Stage 9- which were added reports for the council 7th meeting in Closed Session to be found after Stage 4.

Confirmation and Signing of Minutes of the Previous Meeting

Councilor S. Lehman moved the motion and was seconded by A. Kayabaga. The minutes of the
