A person undergoes different stages of life during growth. These fundamental stages include infancy, childhood adolescence, young adulthood, middle adulthood, and late adulthood. Each step has its importance to an individual and can influence various elements which may vary according to gender. There is the presence of segments to address the health problems of life phases, including the health of the maternal and newborn health, children’s health, sexual and reproductive health, and the welfare of the elderly. Taking care of the requirements of a section population according to the demographics and age is the main aim of these elements. There is a need to implement constant strategies to improve the essential stages in life and also enhancing the whole health system that focuses on designing a solution to the social factors that determine health (World Health Organization, n.d.).

According to research, there is a difference in the health needs of an individual through different life cycles. Various situations comprising the environmental, social, and physical vary since an individual is born till death. Each phase has an influence on a person’s capacity to sustain it. Specific health issues may be critical to a person in various aspects of life. For instance, middle-aged women often experience sexual and reproductive health concerns. Moreover, there will also be a difference in specific risk characters among people depending on the age and influencing factors like depression, which affect an individual (Farrell, Simpson, Carlson, Englund, & Sung, 2017)

The Caucasian ladies aged 65 years are the selected patient for the interview. She had been diagnosed with type two diabetes and also presented other health problems in her life that made her a frequent visitor to the hospital. According to the patient, the approach of attending to her by the doctors was informed by her age. Nonetheless, her case was different because the concentration was to administer a treatment that would reduce the adverse impact on her. There was a need for the hospital experts to ensure that she was comfortable because she was a senior and had engaged the doctors on the best way to prolong her life. Hence, it is evident that age had a significant influence on the doctors’ interactions because of different treatment objectives.

The patient notes the receptionist’s passion and empathy as they prepared her to see a doctor. According to the patient, the nurses show passion and comprehend her state regardless of age and need to be recognized in a nationwide campaign to improve healthcare. This is very encouraging, according to her. She also appreciates her family, which has been very supportive during her frequent visits to the hospital, where she stayed for long. Moreover, the family members were not barred from seeing any treatment procedure on her unless it was a surgical operation. The medics provided the needed instructions frequently, which enhanced an excellent relationship with the family members. However, she notes that there has been increased attention involving her family in the post-procedure prescription and abiding by the treatment. This has happened due to the new regulation and her age which influences the hospital staff to be concerned about her health and safety according to her
