On the basis of analysis, it is identified that Apple Inc. is the company that is giving tough competition due to its innovative products. It is using highly skilled employees to make innovations and provide high quality to the customers. It is identified that employees in Apple Inc. are facing the workplace issues (Melanie Ehrenkranz, 2016). They are facing the issue of a hostile work environment where employees are mistreated because of high work pressures. Further, they are not provided a highly flexible working environment. Such type of workplace issues is creating problems in the company (Apple Inc, 2020).

Still, Apple Inc. is a successful company and also giving tough competition. It is working with a large number of employees because of its creative skills in workplace issue management. The CEO of the company provides better career development opportunities to the employees. Additionally, employees are also able to learn new and innovative technologies (Melanie Ehrenkranz, 2016). Due to such type of opportunities, employees are still working in Apple Inc. In addition to this, it is also providing health and safety measures to its employees. The terms and conditions of Apple Inc. company mentioned about the working hours, where they do not include flexible working opportunities within the organization. In such a manner, it is able to mitigate these workplace issues in a creative manner, without incurring any cost (Melanie Ehrenkranz, 2016).

At the same time, Virgin Australia is the company that is effective in managing its workplace issues. Richard Branson is the leader of the company that has used the servant leadership skills so that they give priority to the needs of its followers and company. In such types of creative skills, the company is able to overcome with the issues related to diversity among employees (Virgin, 2020). Because of diversified cultures, employees face problems in making an adjustment with each other. Due to this reason, Richard Branson used the leadership style in which they engage their team members and also resolved their problems. Therefore, such type of creative skills is helpful in solving the issues and managing the diversified working culture of Virgin Australia (Virgin, 2020). Such kind of efforts of Virgin Australia is useful in achieving success in the market. It is also able to maintain an effective leader and followers’ relationship. Therefore, Virgin Australia is also effective in managing the workplace through its innovative leadership skills (Virgin, 2020).

After the globalization, a large number of companies are facing the workplace issues because of rapid changes in technologies, government rules, and regulations, economic changes, etc. These external environmental conditions are affecting the internal working conditions. For example, changes in technologies force the companies to adopt the new technologies. It creates a problem in managing the working structure (Lepsinger, 2017). The use of creative skills is helpful in mitigating these issues. Various multinational companies are achieving success in accepting the changes in the workplace because of their effective strategic planning.

On the other hand, some companies are not able to manage the workplace issues in an effective manner (Lepsinger, 2017). For example, McDonald is a company that faces failure in making a balance between the innovation and process efficiency. It was not able to understand the importance of flexible leadership, due to which it faces problems in managing the workplace. Due to this reason, it provided opportunities to enter various other competitors in the market with high quality and innovative products for the customers. Therefore, proper planning is essential to manage the workplace issue in an effective manner (Lepsinger, 2017).

Reflection

On the basis of the overall analysis, I have analyzed that managers of the companies should have creative skills in making a proper plan to overcome with issues. I have also learned that Apple Inc. is effective in managing its workforce, irrespective of a hostile working environment. It has achieved this because of its creative skills. CEO of the company is competent enough to motivate the employees. I have also learned that Apple Inc. should also adopt some other skills to give employee satisfaction.

Along with the remuneration and career advancement facilities, it is the responsibility of Apple Inc. that it should analyze the reasons for employees’ dissatisfaction. It should be necessary that Apple Inc. should also make use of critical skills in making some other policies for the employees. They should be provided with a flexible working environment. Moreover, I have also learned that employees should not be pressurized with the jobs. Such a type of environment will not be able to increase the efficiency of employees. Thus, giving employee satisfaction is the effective skills of Apple Inc. to manage the issues.

I have also learned the Virgin Australia is effective in managing its diversity issues. The leader of the company is competent enough to solve the problems of employees. It has enhanced my skills that leadership skills play an essential role in overcoming with the workplace issues. It is because the workplace is maintained by the human resource of the companies. Thus, it is necessary for the leaders that they have to provide satisfaction to them. I have learned that Richard Branson’s policy is effective in managing the issues. At the same time, I have also analyzed that a high level of employee involvement sometimes creates problems and also delayed the decision making process. Thus, I have learned that it should be necessary that leaders should be qualified enough to make the use of the right type of skills at the right time and right place.

Apart from this, I have also analyzed that workplace issues are emerging issues that every organization faces during their working activities. Thus, it is not necessary to make strategies for all types of workplace issues. There should be creative skills among the employees and managers that they should mitigate these issues at their own level. I have also learned that McDonald’s faces these issues because of improper planning and the use of leadership skills. It should be necessary for McDonald that it should use the proper models and techniques for implementing innovation within its workplace. In such types of skills, it is able to overcome with the issues and provide better opportunities.

Along with this, I have also learned that practically creative skills play an essential role in managing the issues. It is because external environmental conditions are rapidly changing. Thus, it is necessary for the companies that they have to take instant actions to handle these issues. Therefore, creative skills such as the use of models, leadership styles, change management approach, etc. are the kind of skills that are essential in handling the workplace issues in an effective manner at the global level. Thus, I have learned that creative and innovative skills are useful in handling the problems and giving employee satisfaction for the achievement of organizational goals.
