The following is helpful in getting the details about the movie, prior to you writing your analysis.
- Who are the 5 most important characters in the movie? What actors played those characters?
- What was the movie about? Be as detailed as you can.
- What is the organization portrayed in the movie?
- Why did you choose this movie? (Beside the fact that you had to pick one for an assignment)
- If you were a reviewer, would you recommend/not recommend this movie and why?
Do a brief SWOT Analysis of the organization in the movie. Include an analysis of the characters from #1, and explain how they dealt with the organization. Tell me why you come to your conclusions? There is no right or wrong; this is your personal opinion. You should be able to write several paragraphs about the organization.
Next, was the movie a “Organizational Behavior” movie? In other words, would you categorize this as a “Organizational Behavior” movie to share with other people?
Finally, did watching a movie to specifically look for organization characteristics change the way you viewed it? Did the in-depth analysis, alter the “enjoyment” factor?
