about research study
I find the lesson of this class about research study as very educative. The research study has enlightened my thought about the female infection; hence I find the class educative. I have come to learn the cause, spread, and treatment of the pelvic inflammatory disease. The infection is transmissible through the vagina to the ovaries, uterus, or fallopian tube. The STDs infections associated with the pelvic inflammatory disease are gonorrhea or Chlamydia though it originates as a result of other bacterial infections. Through the research study, I have gained the knowledge to perform the diagnosis and treatment of PID conditions. I can administer the right choice of medication to the patient without making any complications. The pelvic inflammatory disease is prevalent in females though it can be contracted or spread by the sexual partners. The condition is characterized by increased vaginal secretions, lower abdominal pain, increased sexual intercourse, and abdominal pain. As a medical expert, I suppose to use the right antibiotics in my prescriptions to the patient. I have through this class that I have to run in-depth research before administering the antibiotics. I will have to consider whether the patient is a female or male, and the allergic reactions to penicillin are also measured. I have learned that as APRN, I should recommend the right medication to the patient by considering the adverse side effects of therapy. The patient awareness and education about the drugs and prescription adherence is an essential role as APRN I must play. The patient reactions to drugs are an educative lesson I have added to my mental knowledge stores on how to deal with my clients. After this research study class, I have the confidence to approach the PID issues with care and provide the right choice of treatment. At the end of this research study, I agree 100 percent that PID is a disease caused by bacteria.
