Bo Parfet
Bo Parfet is a renowned figure in the world of high finance. He has come a long way to being who he is at the moment. Arising from Kalamazoo, Michigan, Bo’s achievements and contributions in his field have proved him a great adventurer.
Bo Parfet graduated from The Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University of Chicago, with an MBA. He is also a Master’s degree holder of Economics from the University of Michigan. His experience as an expert in the finance world speaks volumes. He has worked at the Financial Accounting Standards Board as a Research Fellow, as well as an investment banker in the corporate finance department for J.P Morgan on Wall Street.
Bo is also a skilled high altitude mountaineer. He embarked on an around the world journey to climb the highest mountain in every continent. Bo Parfet was able to climb mountains such as Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mount Kosciuszko in Australia, Carstensz Pyramid in Oceania, Mount Elbrus in Europe, Mount Everest in Asia, and few others. He is among the one hundred and twenty-seven people in the United States to achieve the seven summits.
Together with his wife Meredith, Bo started the Denali Venture Philanthropy in 2013. This is an investment organization that funds entrepreneurs committed to social change.
Through his life, Bo Parfet has received various awards such as
- British American Project, Fellow.
- JP Morgan Leadership Award. This was due to him being an employee that demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.
- Presidential Volunteer Service Award. This was after completing more than 4,000 hours of voluntary service all over the world.
Bo and his family now live in Boulder, Colorado, where adventures are easily accessible with a vibrant community.
