Assignment
The Revision Letter is completed in tandem with the revised Persuasive Argument. In the letter, you record and discuss the changes you made when you revised the Persuasive Argument after you have discussed your rough draft with me. The main points of focus in this letter include overall structure changes, paragraph changes, sentence structure changes, grammatical changes, citations corrections, and addition or deletion of information, or any other changes you think are important to note. You may also speak to any minor changes you made if they become consistent edits such as misspellings, punctuation, or APA formatting changes. Be sure to add one example, at a minimum, to each point made in the body of this letter.

Parameters
-Letter is in basic business letter format.
-You may use your own template or a template from your computer, if it is professional.
-The letter is submitted with your final Persuasive Argument, as a separate document. These two documents will count as your final exam, totaling 100 points.
Note:
Writing is a process. Few works are perfect upon submission and one of the most important steps of writing is revision. Each piece should be proofread and revised which is why we included peer workshops of our writing throughout the semester. Now, it is time for you to show me what you have learned about revising/editing and apply it to your own work. This is when you look closely at your writing, considering the guidelines of the assignment, your ideas, structure, transitions, sentences, cohesion, etc. I will not accept your final Persuasive Argument if it is submitted as its original draft. Please also read through your self-analysis letter for errors, mistakes, corrections, etc. Treat it like any other graded assignment. Feel free to use class notes and Purdue Owl Writing Center Online for reference when revising your paper. It will be important for you to take notes during our conference so you can record my comments and suggestions for improving your paper.
