Two-eyed seeing is a way of viewing something from both an Indigenous perspective and also a western perspective. With this, people are motivated and encouraged to be educated, which makes rational people. Two-eyed seeing could bring social justice in Mi’kma’ki society by reconciling them with the Canadians (Dennis and Kerry, 2016).
Question 2: Answer,
In the `trick or treaty’ documentary by Alanis Obomsawin, the elders requested the Canadians to respect their ancestral land. This is because their ancestors had even entered a treaty with Canadians still on matters concerning the land (Smith, 2018).
The elders also demanded equal rights; this was because of the Segregation which existed between the Canadians and indigenous people. The Canadians considered themselves as Christians while they saw Indigenous people as Heathen (Smith, 2018).
The Indigenous people also demanded that the Canadians give them back their land, which they had grabbed in the name of it was their `God-given land.’ All these demands were reflected from the MMIW final report.

Culturally appropriate health care services are health care services that are acceptable and can be practiced within the cultures to ensure the well-being of its people. The Canadians did not even care for the health of the Aboriginal people. Women are more sensitive than men in matters related to health. Most women and girls suffered from diseases like cervical cancer and breast cancer, among other ailments.
Question 4: Answers,
First nations view gender as something which is trained and imparted to a child while Canadians see it as natural. For a boy to grow to become a man, in First Nations, he has to be trained by the older men, Canadians assume that it happens naturally, it’s not obligatory to teach them.
First Nations view sexuality to be spiritual, while for Canadians, it happens biologically. Usually, there are two types of sex, male and female, as with the Canadians. For the First Nations, they have another type of sex, the two-spirit, it blends the male spirit and the female spirit. These kinds of people have special tasks in society and are medicine people, rainmakers, and fortune-tellers among others.
