Experiences that have Prepared Me to Work with Underserved Populations A more incredible passion and understanding of primary care significantly increased while working as a volunteer for a medically vulnerable community-based organization. It was a rewarding experience since, through the community service, I learned how to measure vital signs of a patient. Also, through interactions with regular external visitors, I had an opportunity to build trust and friendship with my contacts. However, my most memorable experience involves counseling and talking to community members regarding healthy lifestyle choices. Relatively, I am confident that my past experiences put me in a better position to serve the underprivileged. It would be my great honor to offer community services or even help tribal
