Members Selection in Ethics Committee Ethics defines the standards of conduct in an organization to ensure professionalism at the workplace and regulate interactions among employees and clients or customers. They are vital for day-to-day operations in an organization. The general standard for individuals to be included in the committee consists of integrity, fidelity and responsibility, beneficence and nonmaleficence, justice, and respect for the people’s rights and dignity. Based on this knowledge and the guidelines for establishing an ethics committee, the six members will be selected in the following procedures (National Association of School Psychologists, 2010).
